Bill Bennett
Horseman and retired agribusiness executive, Bill was introduced to horses before he even celebrated his first birthday! They are his “lifelong addiction,” from his youth, riding “Babe,” his bareback charger, to his college days at what is now called Missouri State, where he worked on an Arabian horse farm and was introduced to noted Arabian trainer, Red Beyer. He dropped out of college to apprentice with Red and learned the method he referred to as “cowboy dressage.”

Bill returned to Missouri State and graduated in 1973. He went to work for MFA Incorporated, a Columbia, Missouri-based farm cooperative, all while continuing to train and sell Arabian horses. In the late 1980’s, Bill switched to raising, training and selling Quarter horses. Upon retirement in 2008, Bill became trainer and breeding manager for Cedardell Arabians.

We are thrilled that Bill has decided to bring his tremendous wealth of equine knowledge and experience to Due West Ranch. He is available for lessons and conducts clinics on a range of topics; watch our website for details! Welcome, Bill!
